MISFORTUNES ARE ALWAYS NEAR
Three girls were cast lots to foretell who would die first. The girl for whom the dice fell badly laughed, blind to her own destiny, when suddenly she was killed by a falling roof tile.
In bad circumstances, fate cannot be avoided. In good circumstances, neither prayers not effort is needed.
