Ginger Envelope

The Ginger Envelope is the primary melodic vehicle for Athens, GA songwriter Patrick Carey, which over the years has evolved significantly from the early stages of the band that produced two records: the lush debut Edible Orchids, and the stripped down and rustic Invitation Air... In the space since these releases there has been a flurry of writing and development culminating in the birth of two new full-length records the first of which, Wolfsbloodwine, is to be finished and available prospectively by the fall of 2012...and the second yet untitled to begin recording around that same time... With a fresh live arrangement in the works to support this new swath of material, Patrick will be found diligently crafting with his compatriots and suspending dried flowers in the air.
